Straight from FOXNEWS.COM, Califonia Representative Darrell Issa (R) and the GOP feel that ACORN (Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now) was involved in several fraudulent activites during the 2008 Presidential election.
ACORN took part in using tax payer money to fund their partisan political agenda, according to a new reports from Republicans on a House oversight committee. ACORN has been accused of fraudulent activities, complete corruption, and calls harrassing citizens to vote Obama ‘08.
ACORN’s destiny in the hands of the Justice Department; the Department will determine whether to pursue a criminal investigation. The census director will determine the fate of ACORN; will ACORN work with the US Census Bureau in 2010 in an effort to recruit 1.4 million temporary workers to go door-to-door to count every person in the States.
Upon visiting ACORN’s website, it was clear that their non-parisan political agenda is quite frankly, a very partisan, liberal agenda.
I propose we find a different non-profit to help with the 2010 Census. There is little sense in providing such an awful organization with our taxes.
