Welcome to The Dronen Report, the blog of yours truly, Nathan[ael] P. Dronen. I am a recent graduate from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Economics. As part of the “Free-Market Movement”, I have created this blog in an effort to bring awareness to the Austrian School of Thought, wise Monetary Policy and most importantly, the transparency and accountability of the US government.
A strong believer in the essentials of freedom; I believe the sole purpose of the government is to provide the people protection from harm, the protection of their private property, and nothing more. I do feel that oligopolies and even more specifically monopolies should be held in check as they destroy the free-market system, but each exception from the system generally leads to more government intervention.
Individuals should be free to do whatever they desire as long as they harm no others. This is my opinion and I hope to persuade my readers to join me in my view of freedom, however, to each man his own.
